Five Silly Snowmen

Five Silly Snowmen dancing outside my door,
One rolled away, and then there were four.
Four Silly Snowmen climbing up a tree,
One fell down, and then
there were three.
Three Silly Snowmen
didn't know what to do,
One ran away, and then
there were two.
Two Silly Snowmen
baking in the sun,
One melted away, and then
there was one.
One Silly Snowman
dancing round and round,
He danced so much he
melted to the ground.
No more silly snowmen,
they all have gone away,
I hope I get to see them,
on
another winter's day!

Fingerprint Penguins

Paint snow on the bottom of a piece of blue construction paper like shown. Paint thumb white to make the body of the penguin. Paint pinky finger black to make the wings and head. Allow to dry and add legs and nose with orange paint.

Cardboard Box Snowman

Gather 3 boxes and cover with white paper (I used bulletin board paper). Use a hot glue gun and attach like shown. Add buttons, hat, eyes, mittens, nose, and mouth from construction paper. Gift wrap cardboard tubes work great for the arms (paint brown). The broom can be made with a rolled up paper bag and yellow tissue paper. The scarf was created with tissue paper.

I am a Snowman.
Look at my cookie eyes,
Look at my orange carrot nose.
I have a tall black hat!
Can you see my raisin mouth?
I have purple mittens.
Do you like my brown broom?
How many yellow buttons do I have?
My scarf is warm and red.
I am a snowman, tall and proud!

Allow to dry. Use a black sharpie to color the top. Add mouth, nose and scarf with foam. For the candle use a battery operated candle and simply place it under the bottle to cover.
