Paper Bag Pumpkin

Stuff a lunch sized paper bag with news paper, tie at the top with a green pipe cleaner and paint orange for this simple to make pumpkin. Add eyes, nose and mouth from yellow construction paper for a Jack-O-lantern!

Paper Plate Spider Web

What You Need:
• Sturdy white paper plates
• Hole puncher
• White yarn
• Bobby pins
• Spider rings
What To Do:
• Punch holes around the plate like above
• Attach one end of yarn through first hole and tie off
• Attach bobby pin to other end and weave the yarn through the hole going across the plate back and forth, tie off end when all yarn is gone
• Cut ring apart in the middle and attach to the web

Edible Pumpkins and Jack-O-Lanterns

What You Need:
• Caramel Rice Cakes
• Orange Icing (mix white icing with orange food coloring)
• Green Taffy for leaf
• Yellow Chocolate Candies or candy corn for eyes
• Brown mini chocolate candies or raisens for mouth
• Banana shaped candies or candy corn for nose
What To Do:
• Cover top of rice cake with orange icing
• Add Eyes, mouth and nose with candies (for Jack-O-Lantern)
• pull apart taffy and form leaf for top

What You Need:
• Chocolate Cookies
• Chocolate Icing
• Chocolate Kisses
What To Do:
• Use a small dab of icing to "glue" the kiss to the top of a chocolate cookie
• Enjoy!

What You Need:

Edible Ghost Cookies

What You Need:
• Vienna Fingers
• White Icing
• Mini chocolate candies
• Plastic knives
What To Do:
• Cover the top and side of the cookies with icing using plastic knives
• Add chocolate candies for eyes and mouth

Paper Bag Bat

Paint a white paper bag black (or any other color if you are teaching colors this is a great way of displaying them with words above or below them) Cut out wings out of thick white construction paper and paint black as well. Add fangs and eyes!

Pumpkin Counting Book

Hand Print Spider With Glitter Web

Paint hand black and press onto white paper like shown. Create a web using glue and add glitter.

• black construction paper

• googly eyes
What to do:• cut out the center of one of the paper plates and paint it black.
• paint the other two paper plates black,dry.
• cut one paper plate in half (for wings)
• cut out feet and glue googly eyes on.

Paper Towel Roll Bat

What You Need:
•Paper Towel Roll, cut in half
• black paint
• googly eyes
•black construction paper
What to do:
•paint paper towel roll black and set aside to dry
• using template (click on picture) cut out wings from black construction paper and glue to paper towel roll
•cut strips of black construction paper into strips and fold accordion style,glue to bat. Add eyes.

• black paint
• black construction paper
• googly eyes

What To Do:
• cut out the center of one plate and paint it black as well as the other plate, allow to dry
• glue head and body together, add eyes
• fold strips of black construction paper accordian style and glue onto body.

Whats Inside A Pumpkin Craft

Create this "Look And See" pumpkin by fastening two pumpkins made from construction paper together. Glue white yarn and pumpkin seeds in the inside.

Hand Pumpkins

Close hand into a fist and paint the knuckle side of the hand orange. Press down onto white paper to make a Pumpkin Patch. Use fingerprints dipped in brown for the stem and green for the leaves. Add grass and sky with crayons or markers.

3D Pumpkin

Step #1 Cut Out two orange circles.

Step #2 Glue strips of paper onto circle like shown below.

Step #3 Glue other end of strips to top circle to make pumpkin like below.

Five Little Acorns

Five little acorns, lying on the ground,

Torn Paper Pumpkin

Give each child a paper plate, a glue stick, orange, brown, black and green construction paper. Tear paper into pieces and glue onto the plate like shown.

Leaf Prints

Paint the back side of a leaf with tempera paint. Press a piece of white construction paper on top of the leaf and rub. Remove paper to reveal a beautiful leaf!

Apple Pie Pockets

Make these simple apple pockets with Grands Biscuits. Press out dough with hands or rolling pin so the biscuit is flat and round. Add apple pie filling to one half of the circle  (I used the Apple Pie filling they sell at Cracker Barrel Old Country Store) you can add cinnamon if it is not in the filling. Fold over the biscuit to form a "pocket" and pinch down the sides with your fingers or a fork to seal. Bake in oven on cookie sheet at 350 degrees until golden brown. Add a scoop of caramel ice cream and enjoy!

Paper Plate Pumpkin and Jack-O-lantern

• Paint paper plate orange. Add leaves and stem for pumpkin or stem, eyes,nose and mouth for Jack-O-Lantern (made of yellow construction paper)

Apple Tree Blossom

Trace hand and part of arm onto white paper and color brown for the trunk and branches. Crumple green tissue paper and glue onto tree for leaves and pink for the blossoms.

Tissue Paper Fall Tree

Using the Template in the templates tab, trace a tree onto white paper and color brown. Crumple up fall colored tissue paper and glue to create a fall tree.

Leaf Window Clinger

You will need:
• transparency paper (the kind you
use for overhead projectors)
• leaf template (from template tab)
• 1/4 cup white glue
• 7-10 drops of yellow, green, red, or orange food coloring
• paint brush

What to do:
* cut out leaves from transparency paper using the leaf stencil (one per child)
* Mix white glue and food coloring in a small bowl
* brush a thick layer of the glue/food coloring mix onto the leaf leaving no "white" space
* let dry for 24 hours
* peel off the "leaf" and cling to any window!

Leaf Marble Painting

You will need:
• yellow,green,red and orange paint
• marbles
• plastic cups/spoons
• leaf template (located in template tab)
• white construction paper
• flat bin with raised sides (get it cheap at the Dollar Tree) 
What to do:
*cut out enough leaves for each child to do at least one (they will want to do more)
*use the plastic cups for the paint (one color in each)
*put 1 marble in each cup along with a spoon
*place the leaf on the bottom of the bin and using the spoon "find" marble in the paint and scoop it out. Place on the leaf. (do this for all the colors)
*roll the marbles all around the leaf (encourage the children to do this slowly, we have had many marbles "fly" across the room.)
*remove leaf and allow to dry 

Transparency Leaves

A great way to decorate your windows and bring a little Fall in your classroom! These were made with transparency paper, watered down glue, tissue paper and a leaf frame. First "paint" the glue onto the transparency paper then add 1x1 inch squares of yellow,red,orange and green tissue paper. Paint on another layer of glue and add another piece of transparency on top to glue together. Insert between the leaf frame and glue together, Hint: the frame was made from a die cut (the outside).
