Snowman Puppet

Let's Play the Snowball Game
Cut out enough white circles for each of your student's names. Write 1 letter on each "snowball." For longer names make smaller circles. Paint the bottom of a piece of blue construction paper like shown and set aside to dry. Have each child put their letters in order to spell their name and glue onto paper. Add "snowflakes" with paintbrush or q-tips. Say the following:
Let's play the snowball game,
How many letters spell your name? (point to one child and have them count out snowballs as they point to each one, then child says "5 snowballs spell my name") You can also have them say each letter, then proceed to another child.

Baby Food Jar Reindeer
Squirt brown paint into the jar, replace lid and shake. Use a brown sharpie to color the lid. Using a glue gun assist the children with attaching the eyes, nose and antlers (made from brown pipe cleaners).

Paper Towel Roll Angel
Cut a paper towel roll in half and paint it white. Use the angel wings template in the template tab and trace it onto white construction paper, cut out and glue to the back of the paper towel roll as shown. Use a white pipe cleaner for the halo. Cut out a circle for the face and color. Use another pipe cleaner for her hair.

Train Ornament
Use a glue gun and assist the children in attaching peppermints to a lifesaver roll of candy like shown. Add a caramel square then a Hershey kiss like above. Tape or glue ribbon for hanging.
Paper Plate Wreath
Create this wreath by cutting out the center of a large paper plate. Tear pieces of construction paper and glue to plate like shown. Add tissue paper for berries.

Let's Feed The Reindeer!
Combine Quaker Oats and glitter in a large mixing bowl and have each child fill a baby food jar with the special reindeer food. Attach lid and use a brown sharpie to color the lid. Using a glue gun assist child with attaching the eyes, nose, and antlers. Attach a small card using ribbon with the following on it:
On Christmas Eve when the stars are bright,
leave these oats within the reindeer's sight.
The glitter will sparkle, it will bring them near,
and the jingle of sleigh bells you just might
hear!

Tissue Paper Wreath
Cut out the center of a small paper plate. Crumple up green tissue paper for wreath and red for the berries. Glue to plate like shown.

Paper Plate Santa Caterpillar
Paint four small paper plates red, connect with a hole puncher and yarn. Attach a white paper plate for the head. Cut out boots from black construction paper and a hat from red construction paper. Add a pom pom for the nose and cotton balls for the beard and top of the hat. Add googly eyes.

Paper Towel Roll Christmas Tree
• Cut a paper towel roll in half. Paint 3/4 of roll green and 1/4 brown, dry. Cut out a green triangle and a yellow star out of construction paper, Cut a slit on both sides to put the triangle down into. Decorate.

Paint hand white and press down onto dark blue paper like shown. Add glitter while it is still wet. Cut out a circle from whit construction paper and color. Attach like above. Add hair with tissue paper or yarn. Make halo using glue and glitter.
