Farmer Brown Had 10 Red Apples

Create this tree with poster board, laminate then attach magnetic tape to where you would like the apples placed. Make the apples using foam (you will need 10) and add a magnet to the back of each one so they will "attach" to the tree magnets. Sing the song below and remove one apple and pretend to eat it as you count down.  Continue until there are no more apples on the tree.

Farmer Brown had 10 red apples hanging from a tree (hold up ten fingers)
He picked one apple
and ate it hungrily (pick one apple off  the tree and pretend to eat it)
Farmer Brown had 9 red apples hanging from a tree (hold up 9 fingers)
He picked one apple
and ate it hungrily (pick one apple off the tree and pretend to eat it)
